New Jersey Championship of Online PokerThe last few weeks there have been articles written about the decline of online poker traffic in the state of New Jersey. However, things are about to change as PartyPoker announced the launch of the first ever New Jersey Championship of Online Poker (NJCOP) which will feature on BorgataPoker.com and NJ.partypoker.com.

This online event is scheduled to take place along with the partypoker WPT World Championship live tournament that will be held at the Borgata during the 21st -26th of April. This online event is sure to gain the extra attention and will draw additional players whom will WPT World Championship. The NJCOP will have 16 special tournaments and total guaranteed prize money of $600,000.

The Main Event at the NJCOP will be a $200,000 guaranteed $200 buy-in deepstack freezeout that will take place on Sunday 27th April and has 50,000 guaranteed to the eventual winner. Players who are interested to enter the NJCOP will be able to do so long before the tournament commences.

Starting from the 17th of March, NJ.partypoker.com will host qualifiers for all 15 NJCOP tournaments and they will only have to pay $1.
