Send Me On VacationWhile politicians and activists continue to raise concerns over gambling and the social evils that it brings within a community, there is no denying that the gambling industry raises enormous amounts of money for charity and non-profit organizations. Although there have been numerous attempts to pass legislation that will seek to ban all forms of gambling, the obvious and significant contributions being made by the gambling industry cannot be overlooked.

On the 5th of April, TrackResults demonstrated this once more when it conducted a poker tournament that focused on raising funds for a breast cancer survivor group called Send Me On Vacation. The event took place at the South Point Hotel and Casino and turned out to be an enormous success. More than 130 people attended the event and there were close to 100 buy-ins that managed to raise close to $40,000 in pledges for Send Me On Vacation.

The poker tournament had a number of interesting prizes that consisted of Las Vegas show tickets, sports memorabilia, dinner vouchers, electronics and cash prizes that went up to $1,500. A number of players decided to give their winnings back to the Send Me On Vacation charity and make a difference in the lives of these courageous women who have fought and overcome this disease.

TrackResults firmly believes in the vision of Send Me On Vacation and has been a staunch support for a number of years. The company has organized a number of tournaments over the years to benefit Send Me On Vacation. The charity identifies breast cancer survivors who are deserving of a hand of support and then decides to gift them incredible vacations so they can find peace and begin their healing process.

The Send Me On Vacation charity understands that fighting breast cancer can be a tedious journey both in mind and body. The stress, struggle and financial costs can often be devastating. The charity looks to make a difference by taking these survivors out of their environment and expose them to a peaceful paradise that will assist in their recovery process.

There were a number of companies that came together to assist in sponsoring a table for the event. Some of these include Tier 3 Marketing, Leisure Loyalty, Merlin Software, BragFire, Nordis Direct/Fidelity National Timeshare, SaveON Resorts, Travel To Go, Festiva Resorts, Wells Fargo, Global Connections, Westgate Resorts, Breckenridge Grand Vacations and TrackResults.
