TonyBetTonybet Poker has built its reputation by promoting Open Face Chinese (OFC) poker over the last couple of years and built a small but strong niche of poker players. The online poker market continues to be an extremely competitive industry and its clear to Tonybet that they need to expand their product offering in order to widen their market range and cater to a bigger group of online poker players.

The company recently announced that it had decided to introduce two new variants of online poker in Texas hold’em and Omaha poker. Tonybet confirmed that it planned to make both these games rake free and six max as it wanted to attract more online poker traffic and build a bigger player database.

In a statement, Isabelle Mercier, Tonybet Poker pro said

I’m super excited about the addition of Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash games to the site. We love OFC poker here at Tonybet and will continue spreading the word about this rapidly growing game. However, the new games will give us even more leverage in the competitive online poker market. I really admire the decision to make them rake-free on launch which should drive a massive amount of players once the good news gets out.

The blinds for Texas Hold’em and Omaha will be within the range of €0.01/€0.02 to €0.25/€0.50 and Tonybet will allow more than 6 players to play at a time at each table. The website plans on introducing a number of games in the months to come and will launch them at different stakes.

Some of the games that Tonybet plans to introduce include multi-table and sit and go tournaments.

First time players who decide to sign-up at the Tonybet website will be eligible for a bonus of up to €500 and need to use the promo code ‘STARTER’. Tonybet is currently preparing to launch the second edition of its OFC World Championship at the King’s Casino in Corinthia Hotel, Prague, Czech Republic. The tournament which runs from the 6th – 8th December is expected to bring in some of the top poker players in Europe.

The full Tonybet Poker OFC World Championship schedule: €350 buy-in Tonybet OFC Progressive Pineapple Event; €10,000 Tonybet OFC High Roller (Re-Entry); €120 Last Minute Satellite to OFC Main Event and the €1,000 Tonybet OFC World Championship Main Event (Re-Entry).
