Kara Scott, an ambassador for poker site 888poker has expressed her excitement at being a part of the 888 Live Poker Festival being planned in 2017 at Kings Casino in Rozvadov, the Czech Republic.
The world’s second largest poker site introduced the 888Live Festival Series in late 2016 positioning them as tournaments with bigger prize pools than its other live events. The first of these events was held in London at Aspers Casino in October 2016. Hosted by Scott, it offered a whole range of events spread over 11 days.
This year, Scott is particularly excited about heading out for the first time to King's Casino Rozvadov which has the largest poker room in Europe and has become one of the top poker destinations in the EU, gaining much attention from poker players over the last 12 months.

Speaking on her role as a host in the tournaments Scott said that her primary objective was to engage with both people who are participating in the tournament and those who aren’t.
In a statement Kara Scott said,
The first priority is to make sure that the players who are there feel welcome, that they know who they can go to with questions and that they're having fun – whether that's taking everyone jet skiing in Spain or sailing in Malta. The other side of hosting is for the people who aren't there. We create video packages, I interview players – all so the people at home can see what 888 gets up to on tour.
She said that she was happy that under her current role she is able to both play and host, adding that the structure of the tournaments suited her style. In terms of preparing ahead of an event, Scott said that she along with her supportive 888poker team agreed after discussions on what needs to be handled by her during the event. This could relate to identifying the different players to interview, the video segments to shoot, or any special projects to complete.
Based on the discussions, Scott along with her team finalized her extensive schedule but with poker tournaments being unpredictable she noted that the team needs to be flexible and adjust to happenings on ground.
