888Live’s second-ever poker festival heads to King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic in the New Year.

From 26 January to 6 February, the 888poker team will be taking over the poker room with a series of events boasting over €600,000 in guaranteed prize money.

The event comes just after the first-ever festival in London that was a massive success with 288 entries paying to play the Main Event, creating a prize pool of £228,096.

Partnering with King’s Casino

King’s Casino in Rozvadov is Europe’s largest poker room, offering a wide range of games and stakes 24 hours. They also cater to the tournament player with daily guarantees. The WSOP Circuit International event recently took place at King’s with 888poker being the primary sponsor of the event.

As the casino is located so close to the German border, it was no wonder that Team888 Germany’s newest ambassador, Natalie Hof, was an integral part of the 888poker promotion of the event – along with fellow teammate, Sofia Lovgren.

The 888Live Festival in January promises to bring out even more 888poker ambassadors with Chris Moorman, Dominik Nitsche and Kara Scott planning to make an appearance.

13 Events Spread Over 12 Days

The 888Live Festival will be made up of 13 events all spread over 12. The event kicks off on Thursday, January 26 with the €195+€30 Opening Event, featuring four starting flights and ends on Sunday, 29 January. With a €150,000 guarantee, this tournament seems destined to break records by bringing in the punters in droves.

Players start with a 30,000 chip stack and are allowed two re-entries. For those players on the tardy side, 888poker keeps late registration open for 11 levels.

It’s no secret that 888poker ambassadors, Chris Moorman and Dominik Nitsche love a high roller tournament. In fact, Chris finished in fourth place in the £2,000 buy-in High Roller event at the 888Live Festival in London. The Rozvadov event packs an even bigger punch with a €5,000+€300 buy-in.

The jewel in the crown of the poker festival is the Main Event. It has a very reasonable €888 price tag that boasts an incredible €300,000 guarantee. There are two starting flights, and you can bet that both will be packed. Players start with a 30K stack and can register up until the start of Day 2 or up to 11 levels.

In total, there promises to be over €600,000 up for grabs in 888poker’s latest foray into the live festival market.
