Amaya Gaming GroupAmaya Gaming Group, the company behind the Ongame Poker Platform, officially announced that they had inked a deal with Bally Technologies. According to the terms of agreement between the two companies, Amaya will allow Bally to utilize the Ongame Poker Platform for its own iGaming Platform.

Bally Technologies will not only be using the poker platform but will also be using the casino suite and incorporating it into the company’s iGaming Platform, which has won awards and acclaim in the industry.

Darcy Krogh, the Vice President of Business Development of Amaya Gaming Group was pleased over the new partnership between Amaya and Bally Gaming.

We are delighted to add Bally as a partner in the US Market. They are an established global brand with great customer reach in the land based gaming industry. The combination of Bally and Amaya should provide casino operators and their players many benefits of a strong strategic alliance, bringing state of the art poker and casino content to the market

It is hoped that the new partnership will cause profits for Bally Technologies in the emerging online poker market in the US. As several US poker states are now moving into legalizing and sorting out the online poker situation legally in the regions, there is a lot of scope for revenue for online poker sites.

As of now, Ongame has an international global online poker network that encompasses as many as 25 of the internet gaming industry’s top known brands. This allows Ongame to have a reach to as many as 20 million online gamers in several markets. What’s more since Ongame also has access to markets in other countries like France, Italy and Spain, the potential for a strong customer base

The new agreement will allow land based gambling enterprises and poker casinos to access the online poker software and reach out to an online poker customer base. It is expected that several land based casino operators will soon take advantage of the opportunities afforded to them with the new partnership.

John Connelly, the Vice President of Business Development Bally Technologies’ stated,

Ongame is a world leader in the online poker space and we are excited to incorporate their best-in-class offering into the Bally iGaming platform. This relationship further validates the current transformation within the online gaming sector, which integrates traditional and online casino systems, allowing casino operators to protect their data, while offering their customers Best in Class content.
