Bellator MMA And AttackThe Bellator Mixed Martial Arts along with Attack Poker recently confirmed that they entered into a strategic partnership that will enable both companies to expand and fulfil the strategic goals that they have set for themselves. This strategic collaboration does not come as a surprise as the poker world and the MMA market have merged together before to promote and enhance sports betting.

Attack Poker, based out of Las Vegas decided to team up with Bellator MMA as after carefully considering the benefits of the deal, it was clear that a strategic collaboration would be mutually beneficial to both organizations.

While the deal was signed during the 2nd week of Feb, Attack Poker has already placed a large banner on its website, advertising Bellator’s upcoming event which is scheduled to take place on the 28th of Feb. The banner promotes tickets for Betllator’s MMA event.

Bellator Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney was extremely happy with the new partnership with Attack Poker. He said

Our partnership with Attack Poker speaks directly to our focus of aligning with innovative industry leaders. Attack Poker’s distinctive and consumer interactive approach to free-to-play poker is what positions them as a leader in the online gaming industry and it’s what made them our top choice to align our brand with.

Bellator will also look to promote and advertise the Attack Poker brand to its fan base. The company confirmed that it will aggressively promote the Attack Poker logo in the MMA cage. Apart from this, Bellator will promote a new award called ‘Attack of the Night’ a clear reference to Attack Poker. The new ‘Attack of the Night’ award will be given to the fighter that was chosen to have had the ‘most explosive finish or technique’ in each Bellator event.

Attack Poker is looking to capitalize from Bellator’s MMA viewership as well as its free-to-air TV in the US. While the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is clearly the number one MMA organization in the world, many believe that Bellator is the second best MMA organization. Hence, this is an ideal platform for Attack Poker to make a big splash in the US market.

Bellator MMA is always looking to increase ticket sales and viewership and by getting its brand out to poker players, the company expects to find a steady increase in the number of viewers. The partnership between Bellator MMA and Attack Poker has been described as a long term partnership; however both companies have not released any specific details about the partnership agreement.
