Full Tilt Poker MTOPSFull Tilt Poker recently announced that it will launch a brand new series of online poker tournaments called Micro Turbo Online Poker Series (MTOPS) on June 9, a Sunday. The event will be held through two weeks and will conclude on June 23.

MTOPS is for poker players who long to experience the thrill and adventure of major online poker series such as FTOPS, but do not have a bankroll big enough to do so. MTOPS comprises a number of online poker tournaments with highly affordable buy-ins, most of them in the range of $0.55 – $5.50. One of these tournaments is a points tournament, and players need to part with just 100 loyalty points to take part in it. The MTOPS Main Event has a buy-in of just $15.

The series comprises a total of 75 tournaments with a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million. The tournaments are based on delightful poker variants such as Razz, Irish Poker, Omaha, NL Hold’em, HORSE, Courchevel, Stud, Badugi and Triple Draw in formats such as fixed limit, rush, pot limit, and knockout. Players can buy-in to each tournament as many times as they wish and play at as many tables as they can handle. If a player does so well that the number of entries exceeds the number of tables, the online poker room will merge two entries into one. The first MTOPS event, which is called the New to the Game tournament, has a buy-in of only $1.10 and a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000.

Full Tilt Poker will award points depending on players’ performance, and the number of points won will be displayed on the MTOPS leader board. The player who occupies the top position on the MTOPS leader board at the end of the series will get a prize of $1,900 plus a free seat to the FTOPS 2014 Main Event.

The player who wins the MTPS Multi Entry Challenge will also get a free seat to the FTOPS 2014 Main Event. According to the rules of this challenge, players have to buy-in twice to the same event to gain points. They can win more points for winning cash with each entry. Players who successfully merge two chip stacks in one tournament will win a free ticket to the $75 Mini FTOPS XXIII Main Event. Those who merge more than two chip stacks will get an extra bonus of $500 along with their free Mini FTOPS ticket.
