Hollywood Poker OpenThe Penn National Gaming’s Hollywood Poker Open (HPO) and poker pro Chris Moneymaker have worked well together over the years to turn the HPO into an extremely popular poker tournament in the United States. The HPO recently released its Season 4 schedule which is expected to start on the 12th of November with a regional tournament that will be held at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg.

The HPO also confirmed that Chris Moneymaker will continue his relationship with the HPO and serve as an ambassador for Season 4. The 2003 World Series of Poker champion has used his popularity and influence to promote and build the HPO brand and will once again be at the center of all the action.

The HPO Season 4 Regional Schedule will start with the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and run from the 12th – 22nd of Nov 2015; followed by a stop at the Hollywood Casino in Toledo, Ohio and run from the 25th of Feb to the 6th of March 2016, then go to the Hollywood Casino in St. Louis, Missouri and run from the 10th – 20th of March 2016. The final three stops will be at the Hollywood Casino in Columbus, Ohio and run from the 28th of April to the 8th of May 2016; stop over at the Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races in West Virginia between the 12th – 22nd of May 2016 before finally concluding with the Hollywood Poker Open Season 4 Tournament Championship at M Resort Spa Casino in Nevada in June 2016.

In a statement, HPO Tournament Director Bill Bruce said

Interest in the HPO continues to grow as it becomes more and more competitive and exciting. As we have in the first three seasons of the HPO, our regional tournament series will determine hundreds of winners that will compete in the Tournament Championship in Las Vegas. The HPO offers our regional gaming patrons a tremendous opportunity to compete for large prize pools and the chance to be crowned the ultimate champion.

The HPO which started in 2012 has gained in popularity with every passing year and tournament organizers expect Season 4 to be the best season yet as they expect players from all over the country to make plans to be a part of an HPO event. The HPO Season 4 is estimated to bring in a prize pool that is well over $2 million.
