Italian Poker TourNeteller, one of the major online payment processing companies in the world, has signed a partnership deal with the Italian Poker Tour (IPT) 2013. Optimal Payments Plc, Neteller’s parent company, and IPT Service, a joint venture of the Pagano Group and PokerStars.

Optimal Payments Plc has earned an excellent reputation by providing online payment solutions for online players and operators. It has met the requirements of both by cutting operational costs, raising profits, and eliminating risks of fraud.

Today, a number of online gambling platforms have incorporated Optimal Payments’ services into their account management systems.

Speaking about the recently signed partnership deal with IPT Service, Optimal Payments Vice President Lorenzo Pellegrino said:

We are excited to sponsor a series of events like the IPT, and to provide our support. For many years, Neteller has been offering a system of services able to meet the needs of operators and users in the gaming industry.

Confirming the above, IPT Service CEO Luca Pagano called it “a very important agreement” as it brings together the largest poker tour in Italy and a prominent international company. Stating that IPT is honoured for being chosen by Neteller as its Italian partner, he said that this demonstrates the fact that Neteller thinks highly of the IPT’s brand value and its various contributions over the years.

He also expressed hopes that the partnership will benefit players greatly

thanks to the excellent Neteller payment account and the Net+ Prepaid MasterCard, as well as various promotions which will be offered at each stage of the Italian Poker Tour.

The partnership deal will be brought into effect when the new IPT season commences. The first leg is expected to kick off in San Marino on June 8 and will continue till June 17. The deal will remain effective throughout the IPT’s five legs and till it concludes in Dec 2013.

Neteller and IPT Service have already announced a couple of initiatives for IPT players. The first of these is meant exclusively for Neteller account holders or for those who intend to open a Neteller account for the IPT and wear a Neteller patch throughout the event. The top IPT player will win a free seat to the next IPT.

The second initiative will reward the most unfortunate Main Event player, also called the player who finishes on the bubble. Instead of returning home disappointed, this player will get a prize of €1,000, sponsored by Neteller.
