Party PokerOnline poker site partypoker recently announced that it has addressed one of the biggest complaints that emerged from players who were using its mobile app. That compliant was about the lack of multi-table games. The partypoker app had earlier allowed only a single table to be open at any given point of time which was affecting player experience.

The company has fixed this issue in its latest upgrade after taking its player feedback seriously and fixing the issue. The new and improved app is now available for both Android and iOS-based devices and will allows players to participate in as many as four games at the same time.

The site has also launched an app for Windows phones recently.

Players can either play four tournaments or four cash games, or a mix of the two types of these games at the same time. This flexibility is a dramatic improvement over the previous mobile app experience and brings the party poker offering closer to that of its competitors. GVC, the parent company of partypoker decided to overhaul the app based on feedback from players who have indicated that playing more than one game at a time on the app was critical for them.

In a statement, Liron Snir, GVC's chief product officer said

This marks a real step-change in our poker offer and puts us at the cutting edge of the industry in terms of form and functionality. At GVC, we are committed to developing best-in- class products for our customers, be they players or B2B partners, and this release delivers on that promise.

The mobile app upgrade also comes with a number of additional features that have been introduced to enhance overall player experience. Some of the major upgrades include improved table alerts, a customizable bet slider, ability to swipe or tap to switch tables and adding a new table of same type with just a tap. The site has released an instruction video titled ‘How To Become a Multi-Table Master’ (shown above) to help players quickly grasp the nuances of the new app.

The new and improved app comes at an appropriate time, with partypoker offering several exciting tournaments for players to participate in. A major tournament that started recently is the $10 million guaranteed Powerfest series, which has a total of 198 events with buy ins as low as $5.50 going up to $5,200.

The tournament boasts of two events which have a guaranteed prize pool of over $1 million. Players have a range of exciting games in this boxing-themed tournament spread over four tiers: Featherweight with $355,000 in Guaranteed prize money, Middleweight with $750,000 in Guaranteed prize pool, Heavyweight with $4,040,000 in Guaranteed prize winnings, and High Roller with $5,275,000 in Guaranteed prize money.
