PokerStars is now the biggest online poker website in the world and has a player database of well over 200 million players from across the globe. When PokerStars launched the European Poker Tour (EPT) over 10 years ago, PokerStars never had the presence or brand image that it has now and the EPT was launched on a small scale.
The EPT proved to be a success during the first season as players were excited with what the tournament had to offer and since then the EPT has grown considerably with every season.
PokerStars has decided to release a special limited edition hard cover book to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the EPT.
The limited edition book will cover the journey of the EPT starting from its inception, the challenges, successes and feature a number of high definition images capturing special moments in the EPT’s history. The book will also reveal behind-the-scene events, interesting stories, special quotes and the background of each of the winners of the EPT main event.
PokerStars decided not to release this book to the general public but instead make it a limited edition and award it only to individuals who have a special relationship with the EPT and the PokerStars brand. The 11 winners of the EPT main event will receive a copy along with some of the leading online PokerStar players who have been with the company for awhile.
The 11th edition of the European Poker Tour is currently underway and the winner will be given a copy of the book. Interested individuals who would like to see if they can purchase a limited edition can do so by going to the PokerStars VIP store and see if they have sufficient FPPs to make a purchase.
The book is over 300 pages and will serve as a nice collector’s edition. Pokerstars released a statement on their website which read
