Redbet LiveRedbet LIVE, the popular European poker festival is making a stop at Malta between Oct. 10 and 18 after successful runs at other major European poker destinations.

Earlier events held in Olomouc and Rozvadov attracted more than 1,000 players to its €350 buy-in Main Event alone while the side events brought in hundreds of interested players.

The Rozvadov event saw 2,500 player registrations in total across all games where the guaranteed prize pool was over €40,000

This is Redbet’s third successful year of operating its European poker tour which has built a reputation of being a tour that focuses on fun and entertainment.

In a statement, Marcin Jablonski, the head of Redbet LIVE poker, said,

Whether you’re a serious low-stakes regular, or just a recreational player looking to play in a game with a decent prize-pool for a low buy-in, we know that Redbet LIVE is a great option for you. In recent years, we felt that the poker market was too heavily focused on nosebleed stakes and professional players, and we want to offer an aspirational festival that doesn’t require re-mortgaging your house to play.

The structure of the Redbet LIVE format has been created to target both serious players and recreational players, hoping to provide both segments with enough reasons to play. All tournaments are professionally dealt and are held at top-notch casinos. The Malta tour will take place at Casino Malta and the event is expected to have full media coverage.

Earlier stops saw the guaranteed pool prize for the €350 buy-in main event reaching over €40,000 in both Rozvadov and Olomouc. The poker festival will offer several side events with buy-ins starting from €20 and going up to €100. Despite the intense levels of competition in Malta’s poker scene, Jablonski remains confident that Redbet Live will be a hit with the players.

He pointed out that the LIVE poker tour had repeatedly proven that there was a significant market for low-stakes games and recreational players must be given the opportunity to play the game at their favorite destinations and venues. Jablonski maintains that such players need not confine themselves to low rake games in their local casinos but come out to Malta and play poker while enjoying the beautiful attractions Malta has to offer.

Players can qualify from weekly satellites hosted online having guaranteed package prizes or through the Redbet Champ promotion, where weekly tournaments will award tickets and prize packages to Redbet Live Malta.
