Ultimate PokerPoker companies in the US will now be eagerly looking to kick start their operations as Ultimate Poker became the first official poker website to launch in Nevada on the 30th of April. Ultimate Poker had all the required legal approvals and kick started its operations and started offering its games and collecting cash from customers who were in Nevada.

Ultimate Poker has done extremely well in the two weeks since its launch and the traffic stats have been impressive as they are rated as 39th on the rankings worldwide on Poker scout. One of the main reasons why these stats are impressive is because the state of Nevada has officially around 3 million residents only.

However, there are a few concerns about the software platform that Ultimate Poker is using to offer its online services. Due to the urgency to kick start its operations and also have an official product ready to launch during the World Series of Poker, there are a few issues with the software.

Users will have no problem visiting the Ultimate Poker website and signing up for an account. However, it then becomes a little difficult to verify your account as users have to provide a cell phone number to complete their verification process. The cell number has to confirm that you are officially within the borders of the state of Nevada. If for some reason this is not possible, then you will not be able to verify your account.

Some of the other concerns on the software include the inability to take notes on players within the client, no ability to resize tables or lobbies, no ability to save hand histories or view hands via a replayer and as of now only Texas Hold’em is currently available.

Yet when it comes to players funding their account and withdrawing their winnings, there are no issues. Those players who are close to Las Vegas have the option to make a deposit at any Station Casino location. Those who are outside the Las Vegas area will be able to make their deposits via bank wire, check by mail or instant check.

Since it is only a couple of weeks since the official launch, Ultimate Poker will be in the process of upgrading and fine tuning their software as none of the concerns are serious. In the meantime, all poker lovers in the state of Nevada will be lining up to try their hand at online poker.
