Unibet Poker is an online poker website that is very popular with European poker players.

The Swedish based company has built a reputation for itself by offering a number of cash game promotions that have been well received in the market. Now Unibet Poker has announced that it will be introducing a new online poker tournament in October.

Unibet Poker players will be able to participate in multi-table tournaments (MTTs) from October 2 while its Sunday Majors will commence from October 8.

Unibet Poker has announced that it will also be rolling out a number of changes to improve the overall player experience. Some of these changes include the introduction of two new blind structures, changes to the MTT lobby and the return of the popular ‘Moving On Up‘ promotion which will be reintroduced with improvements.

The Sunday Majors schedule for October 8 will include a total of 6 events which commence from 17:00 CEST and the last event scheduled for 20:00 CEST. The top event for the upcoming Sunday Majors will be the Supernova event which has a buy-in of €100 and a guaranteed prize pool of €20,000 and will run in a freezeout format.

The company has also announced that it has decided to bring all its low stake event qualifiers into a pool and give players the option of choosing which Unibet tour they would like to play in. Unibet will be paying special attention to its MTT schedule as the company has invested both time and money in preparing for its MTT roll-out.

In a statement, David Pomroy, Head of Poker for Unibet said

As tournament players ourselves, we’ve been planning to overhaul our MTT schedule for a while but wanted to focus on software improvements first. The client is in great shape now and so it’s time we gave MTT players at Unibet and beyond something to shout about

Players who participate in a minimum number of MTT’s each week, will receive cash game tickets. During October, the value of these cash game tickets will go up each week and during the last week, players will be able to earn a €25 ticket.

Unibet has worked closely with its players in the past to take feedback and make changes to its software and polices to make the player experience more pleasant. Pomroy said that the company will encourage its players to provide real time feedback on the recent changes and based on that, Unibet Poker will continue to tweak and optimize its offerings.
