The month of May looks to be an exciting one when it comes to poker tournaments. The UK and Ireland schedule for these events is quite full.

The tournament schedule consists of a strong variety of different events, featuring various buy-in amounts and multiple different prize pools. The schedule for such can be found below.

First of all, let’s take a look at the Grosvenor 25/25 series. Altogether, this series will have seven editions, and the first of them will take place between May 3 and 6 at The Poker Room, based in London.

All of the series’ seven events will occur as No-Limit Hold’em games, with varying starting flights as well as buy-ins standing at £225. Each of the games from the series that will take place in May also come with a prize pool that is guaranteed at £25,000. Following on from this, May 10 to 13 will see the Grosvenor Casino Bournemouth and the Leeds Westgate establishment take the next two events in the series. The Birmingham and Liverpool Grosvenor Casino locations will take the next two events in the series between May 17 and 20. The Poker Room takes over again on May 24 to 27 before the seventh event takes place between May 31 and June 3 at Grosvenor Portsmouth Gunwharf.

The Genting Poker Series, featuring the Main and the Mini events, will take place in May too. Leg eight of the Main Series at Genting Poker will kick off on May 8 and continue on to the 13th of the month. A number of events from this tournament will take place at the Genting Resorts World Birmingham establishment. This one comes with an event known as the NLHE Super Seventy, which has a buy-in of £80 and a guaranteed reward of £6,000, while the £110 Masters has a £10,000 guarantee. To add to this, the tenth leg of the Mini is to occur between May 31 and June 3, which will take place at Genting Casino Glasgow. It comes with a buy-in of £220 and will take place over two days.

Others to Watch Out For

There’s also the addition of the PartyPoker series, with its second season set to begin with two separate events. These are the Fitzwilliam Poker Masters, as well as the Grand Prix Mini in Dublin. The former of these will occur between May 4 and 7, which will take place over three days featuring two different starting flights. Players can enter for a single buy-in amount of €375 and it contains a guaranteed prize of €50,000 altogether. The Green Isle Hotel located in the city of Dublin will be the setting for the Grand Prix Mini between May 24 and 27. To enter this one, a buy-in of €120 is necessary and there are four alternative starting flights across two game days. A huge €100,000 prize is on offer with this one.

Alongside that, you should also keep an eye out for the Rainbow Super Cup, which will take place at the Rainbow Casino, located in Bristol. There’s £15,000 of prize funds to be won with this one. Additionally, there’s the Bank Holiday Monday event that will occur on a single day at London’s Empire Casino on the 7th May. A second bank holiday event will take place at the same location on May 28th.
