partypoker which recently won the EGR Poker Operator of the Year award has become the first major online poker operator to launch its own cryptocurrency called MY PP LIVE $$$.
The online poker operator decided to launch its virtual currency based on the feedback from its players.
partypoker players said that there were many times when they qualified for an event but for some reason they could not attend the event.
They would then find that their chips stack was completely removed and that they got nothing in return.
partypoker has made it a mission for the last 24 months to listen carefully to player feedback and then make decisions that would help improve player experience.
By launching MY PP LIVE $$$, partypoker players will be able to store and maintain their MY PP LIVE $$$ currency in their accounts and use it whenever they wish to buy-in to different partypoker events. Players who accumulate MY PP LIVE $$$ will be able to use this money to buy-in to partypoker LIVE tournaments including the popular partypoker LIVE MILLIONS & Grand Prix’s and Country Championships.
Players will also be able to use this virtual currency to buy-in to partypoker sponsored events such as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Brazil. The MY PP LIVE $$$ currency can also be used to pay for travel and hotel expenses to partypoker tournaments. The launch of this new partypoker currency will allow players to accumulate MY PP LIVE $$$ money from daily and weekly satellites.
They will then have the option to use the MY PP LIVE $$$ they accumulate to buy-in to any of the partypoker LIVE tournaments or sponsored tournaments. The company has confirmed that the MY PP LIVE $$$ will not have any expiry date and that a new leaderboard will be launched by partypoker, which will give players the opportunity to win real money based on how much MY PP LIVE $$$ they have accumulate during the year.
In a statement, John Duthie, President of partypoker LIVE said
