Mohsin Charania has emerged as the winner of the Main Event of the €10,000 PokerStars and Monte Carlo Casino European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final, which attracted a player field of 665 poker players. Charania has collected the top prize worth €1.35 million or $1,785,780.

His recent win comprises the 13th major title won in the course of his career and boosts his total poker earnings to over $4.8 million. Besides the €1.35 million and the coveted title, Charania has also won 2,100 Player of the Year Points from Card Player, which positions him in the 8th rank.

Speaking about his latest success, Charania says that he cannot put his feelings in words and that the realization that he has actually won hit him only after a few hours. Charania also said that “it feels unbelievable.”

French poker pro Lucille Cailly has emerged as the runner up. She has collected a cool prize of €1,050,000 and has become famous as the first woman poker player to ever reach the final tables of the Main Event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Final.

The final results are as follows: Mohsin Charania and Lucille Cailly finished first and second winning $1,785,780 and $1,388,940, respectively. They also won 2,100 and 1,750 POY Points, respectively.

The players who finished third, fourth, and fifth were Bernard Guigon, Sergio Castelluccio, and Rodrigo Caprioli, winning $720,926, $529,120, and $416,682, respectively. They also won 1,400, 1,050, and 875 POY Points, respectively.

The players who finished sixth, seventh, and eighth were Michael Dietrich, Clayton Mozdzen, and Daniel Gomez, winning $324,086, $244,718, and 171,964, respectively. They also won 700, 525, and 350 POY Points, respectively.

Charania, who is currently located at Des Planes in the US of A, has a total of 24 cashes to his credit. His recent EPT win is the greatest in his life as he has finished first in a live poker tournament for the first time in his poker career.

The EPT Main Event winners will also receive a fabulous bracelet each, created by Shamballa Jewels, among the most widely acclaimed jewelry designers in the world.
