Maria HoPoker Central has promoted itself to be the only 24/7 poker TV network in the world that will showcase all things related to poker. The company is planning to launch its operations before the end of 2015 and will feature programming that covers live poker events, poker strategy, tips and tricks, player profiles, fabulous poker destinations and behind the scenes footage from poker events across the world.

The company recently announced that it had entered into an agreement with poker pro Maria Ho to host a live show on the poker network. The show will be telecast as the “Poker Central Live with Maria Ho” and will be in an interactive format. The channel roped in Maria Ho because of her popularity within the poker community as well as her achievements in and out of the poker world.

The 32 year old poker player has won over $1.5 million in career prize money and has also featured on the reality show ‘The Amazing Race’ and recently hosted Poker Night: The Tour. She has a strong presence on social media and is expected to bring in a bigger audience by hosting the new show which will be streamed via Twitch.tv.

Poker Central Live with Maria Ho” is expected to launch before the end of September and is expected to stream a number of times each week and will run for atleast a couple of hours.

Ho will be playing online poker and chatting with a number of professional poker players and celebrities to give viewers a glimpse into the poker world and the lifestyle that professional poker players have to lead.

Ho said that she was very excited to be a part of the Poker Central network and was waiting for the show to go live, so that she can connect with a new audience and spread the game of poker. Poker Central will be releasing updates about the show and scheduled timings via Twitter.
