Jon “Skalie” Kalmar is a frequent poker player from clubs in the north and midland of England. He used to be a punk rocker until he gained some fame for himself at the 2007 World Series of Poker event.
It was rumoured that he was seen as one of the biggest competitors in the event and regardless of whether the rumour was true or not, the impact of his play is still being felt today. Despite closing at the 5th place in the World Series Poker event and cashing in for a $1.256 million score, it was enough to fuel his desire to earn a living off

Toby Lewis is very well known in the poker world. Hailing from Hampshire, England, Toby created a name for himself by scoring a win at the prestigious EPT London side event.
His winnings from the event totalled up to €467,836 when he beat two other highly regarded players, Sam Trickett and Teddy Sheringham. The major victory not only garnered fame and attention for Toby, it also won him the “Rookie of the Year” award at the Europena Power Awards even in 2011.
The Southern Daily Echo just recently ran a story on Toby Lewis on how he has become one of Poker’s newest millionaires. His success in the recent World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic event for which he gained a 6th place finish, has allowed him to supersede Roberto Romanello, to become the new number 1 in UK rankings on GPI.
