888poker Swedish Poker-SM Online ChampionshipFor the third consecutive year, the Swedish Poker-SM Online Championship Series (PSMO) will once again be an entity via a partnership with 888 Poker. The event has been such a success for both platforms in the previous two years that their unison for the third year should come as no surprise.

This tournament will kick off on April 1 and it will continue running through to April 29 via the 888 Poker site. The Championship Series will incorporate a range of different events to participate in. These include Deepstack, Turbo and Highroller 6 Max amongst others. At the moment, daily $12 satellite tournaments are running on 888 Poker for access to the PSMO. Meanwhile, there’s a $150 + $10 buy-in Main Event scheduled for the tournament, which comes with a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool with 120-minute levels.

The winning player of the Main Event will receive a prize of a package to 888 Poker Live, taking place in Barcelona in the month of May. Furthermore, the winner of the overall leader board will receive a package to the 2018 WSOP Crazy Eights event, which will be taking place in Las Vegas. This makes up part of the World Series of Poker (WSOP).

The Upcoming Schedule for 888 Poker

888 Poker has already announced its stops for its 2018 Festival tour, travelling around the world. This will see the tournament head to Romania, Portugal, Brazil, Spain and, of course, various locations within the United Kingdom. The stop in Lisbon in December marks quite the standout event, as it’s not a location that many other online operators choose to go to. 888 Poker is also not licensed for online poker in Portugal, so the live stop will make quite a treat.

Martin Jackson, working as 888 Poker’s newest ambassador, said that the platform’s goal is to host “prestigious events” and provide huge guarantees through them. He also went on to say that these tournaments are supposed to be affordable for anyone, as they provide a wide range of buy-in prices.

These events will run at the same time as the smaller events known as 888 Live Local, which have also proven to be a big success for 88 Poker over the previous three years. Additionally, the company’s sponsorship of the WSOP will continue on for another year.

It’s not the first time that 888 Poker has forged such partnerships with Poker-SM and WSOP. In fact, the company is responsible for forging partnerships with multiple different other brands, including earlier this year when it brought the WPT500 to the Aspers Casino in London. Prior to this, the event was held at the Dusk Till Dawn casino in the city of Nottingham and had PartyPoker as its sponsor. In addition to this, 888 Poker went on to partner with the digital television channel known as Poker Central. It became the in-show sponsor for real money online poker gaming. 888 Poker will continue offering its player packages to exclusive events shown on Poker Central.
