United Kingdom & The Republic of IrelandThe next couple of weeks will be full of exciting action for British and Irish online poker players as two online festivals are set to give away €450,000 in combined prize money!

The International Poker Open Dublin has turned into an online event and kicked off on October 19 at Unibet Poker. The festival runs until October 26, with €150,000 in guarantees up for grabs. Meanwhile in the UK, Paddy Power Poker will play host to the €300,000 GTD Royal Majesty Series which takes place from October 23 to November 1.

International Poker Open Dublin

The International Poker Open Dublin has been a staple in Ireland’s poker calendar each year. The festival is traditionally held as a live event, with the action taking place at the Bonnington Hotel. However this year, it had to be moved to the virtual felts due to ongoing health and safety concerns brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s partnership with Unibet Poker has made the online shift possible, keeping the action going for players and fans of the popular festival.

International Poker Dublin will be headlined by a €300 buy-in Main Event, taking place on October 24-25. Players will compete for at least €50,000 in guarantees, with satellites also running. Another key event on the schedule is the €500 buy-in High Roller, which comes with a €25,000 guarantee.

Royal Majesty Series

Players in the UK will be interested in the upcoming Royal Majesty Series which will starts on October 23 with a guaranteed €300,000 in prizes! The festival features a total of 20 events, categorized into four buy-in tiers – Micro, Low, Medium and High. With buy-ins ranging from €0.50 to €100, players get the opportunity to take part in the event without worrying about the size of their bankroll. All events only allow single re-entry.

The Royal Majesty Series also features a Player of the Series leaderboard which will award €2,500 in extra prizes to the top performers. If you manage to reach the Top 50, you’ll receive a €1,000 freeroll entry. If you end up being among the Top 10 players, you’ll walk away with a slice of €1,500 worth of tournament tickets, plus some Paddy Power merchandise.
