A third season of the Unibet UK Poker Tour is set to kick off in the country from March 23 at the Brighton Rendezvous. Partnering once more with Caesars Interactive UK, the tour will make four different stops around the country. Each of these will have a Main Event with a buy-in of £220 and each will also come with a prize pool of £40,000 guaranteed. Players have the ability to win themselves a place on the tour by playing at the Unibet Poker website.

However, in comparison to the previous two tours, Unibet has made a few changes to these Main Event offerings. After taking feedback from players at previous tours, the biggest of these changes sees the starting stack being doubled. This raises it up from a total of 25,000 chips to 50,000. Therefore, deeper stacks will theoretically occur during the progression of the tournament. Furthermore, Unibet Poker has also chosen to introduce something known as the “flexi-clock”. With this, players will see blind levels last anywhere between 25 minutes and 45 minutes, which will be dependent upon the stage of the tournament.

The remaining rules dictate that players can still re-enter the tournament once per day and furthermore, they are able to play both in Day 1A as well as Day 1B. Players’ largest stacks can then be taken through for the finals. These two days periods begin in Brighton as mentioned, while June 29 to July 1 takes the tour to Glasgow’s Alea Casino. The Brighton Rendezvous returns as the third location on September 28 and then the tour finishes on December 7 to 9 at Manchester 235.

Additional Tour Details

As well as the aforementioned Main Events, Unibet is also opting to provide two more promotions, occurring at each one of the stops. To begin with, there will be a €2,000 Unibet Open Package given to the qualifier online who survives the longest time in each of the Main Event rounds. Additionally, the same package is to be given to each of the four locations’ champions.

Not only that, but players have the possibility of winning themselves one of the €500 packages by playing poker online at the Unibet Poker site. Every Saturday, the platform will be running a guaranteed final of three packages, taking place at 7:00pm GMT. This sees gamers given the chance to secure themselves a buy-in to one of the Main Events of the tour, as well as have some remaining spending money.

The start of the tour is something that one ambassador David Lappin is very much thrilled about.

He said, “I’m a huge fan of grassroots poker and I think it’s your responsibility as a pro to support it whenever possible…”.

He went to further state that the tour appears at great venues and always guarantees wonderful prize pools before hyping the previously spoken of fleix-clock.

A final addition to the tour is the Ladies Event, which takes place on the last day of every tour stop. Daiva Byrne, another ambassador will be hosting these, while a poker seminar with no entrance fee will also take
