WSOP Circuit National ChampionshipThe World Series of Poker (WSOP) recently announced that the 11st edition of the WSOP Circuit will end with the popular WSOP Circuit National Championship that is scheduled to take place in North Carolina.

The tournament will have a total of fourteen events that is scheduled to start on the 23rd of July and continue till the 2nd of August. The highlight of the tournament will be a $1 million freeroll that takes place during the 29th – 31st of July. Harrah’s Cherokee Casino will play host to the WSOP Circuit National Championship and ESPN will be responsible for telecasting the tournament.

In a statement, Brooks Robinson, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s said

We have an avid and loyal poker-playing community that greatly supports our two annual WSOP Circuit stops and our other year-round poker offerings and we’re excited to be chosen to host this year’s WSOP National Championship.

Players who win a WSOPC ring event or secure any of the Casino Champion titles during this season will automatically qualify for the $1 million dollars in guaranteed prize money. The event is expected to draw a large number of professional poker players as the WCOP National Championship is officially recognized as a WSOP 2015 bracelet event.

Poker Players in Nevada and New Jersey who want to qualify for the WSOP Circuit National Championship can do so by visiting the WSOP.com website and participating in any of the WSOP.com Online Championship events. If they manage to finish within the top 5 of their particular event, they will be eligible to participate in the freeroll. The offer will be valid for the next 30 days and the WSOP.com will feature a total of 90 events during this period of time. Up to 450 poker players are eligible to qualify from each of these two states and will be eligible to stay three nights in a hotel and get a specified amount of travel money for their expenses.

The top 100 players who have made the WSOP World Rankings will have the opportunity to participate in this event with a buy-in of $10,000. The top 100 will comprise of the best WSOP players and gold bracelet winners who have accumulated points over the last 24 months. The event is expected to receive a large number of participants and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino are happy with the publicity and the opportunity to host this prestigious event.
