Partypoker recently announced that it successfully managed to sign UK poker pro Sam Trickett to its brand ambassador team.
Trickett is arguably one of the most well known poker pros in the UK and is the leading poker player on the UK’s all time money list.
The UK poker pro entered the poker scene in 2007 after entering a £110 tournament on a ticket he won and took home £3,610 in winnings which was instrumental in kickstarting his poker career.
Since then, Trickett built up a formidable reputation as a poker player. He now has more than $20.5 million as earnings from live poker tournaments

In 2008, he won the £1,060 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Luton Main Event for £109,050 and finished fourth in the $5,000 no-limit hold’em event at the World Series of Poker, netting prize money of $245,927.
Since 2010, Trickett has been on a winning spree and has notched up some huge wins. Some of the latest include first place at the A$250,000 Challenge of 2013 Aussie Millions which saw him take home A$2,000,000 in winnings, second place at the $125,000 partypoker Premier League netting him $254,000 and fifth position in the €50,000 Super High Roller held at the 2014 EPT Barcelona for €288,400
As a partypoker ambassador, Trickett will be representing the brand at all global events through 2017. He will also be launching a new game on partypoker, Trickett’s Cash Games. These will be by-invitation games for high-stakes players who win tickets to the online poker event from the site. It will allow the winners to play against some of the top poker players of the world.

Tom Waters, Group Head of partypoker expressed his delight at the partnership and said it was indicative of partypoker’s success in recent times that a top poker star like Trickett was keen to work with the brand. He said that his presence was a great addition to the site and will give partypoker players a boost.
Trickett is right now competing at the Caribbean Poker Party being held in in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
