After a drawn out manhunt for the villain who robbed a casino at gun point in January, Bryan Lisio was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and armed robbery. While it was not as swift as authorities had hoped, justice has been served.
According to the police, Lisio was in the parking lot of The Poker Room waiting for possible victims. Armed with a handgun, Lisio attacked a 64-year old man that had just gotten out of his car. The victim faked a heart attack and asked Lisio to stop out of mercy.
Lisio ceased the attack and fled off with the victim’s wallet that has $80. The victim made his way inside the poker room and asked for help.
The robbery took place at 7pm and there were reports of a red pickup truck being used in the incident. The police were diligently searching for the suspect Thursday evening who was said to be a white man, between 27-32. The initial details stated that the attacker was 5’11”, around 190 pounds, had black hair and was wearing a dark jacket and jeans.
Luckily for the investigators, aside from their descriptions, a hat was found at the crime scene which they believed was something that belonged to the suspect. The police took a photo of the hat and posted it on the Facebook page of Crimeline for the Hamptons as well as other social media sites and local media outlets.
The police force was asking everybody for more information about the robbery incident and contacts their local police department regarding the issue. Fortunately, there was a man who recognized the hat and called in a tip which led to the arrest of Lisio. Crimeline for the Hamptons was founded to give citizens a chance to help solve crimes in the Hampton area.
This is open 24/7 and all the tipster has to do is call their hotline number and provide the tip. In this case, the tip led to Bryan Lisio being arrested and held on a $50,000 bail.
The Poker Room on the other hand stated in a press release that they were extremely happy and relieved regarding the arrest of Bryan Lisio. Frank Valgenti, the director of marketing for The Poker, said that he is happy that the suspect in this case was caught and was quoted in saying
This was something we never want to see happen again.
