Daniel Colman had an amazing 2014 on the poker circuit winnings over $20 million. He won the 2014 World Series of Poker Big One for One Drop and continued to win big tournaments proving that he worked out a solid strategy to be consistent on the circuit. Olivier Busquet, also had a good 2014 and ended up winning the 2014 European Poker Tour Barcelona Super High Roller.
Both the champions have decided to raise money for the One Drop Foundation by offering poker lessons. These poker lessons will be auctioned for charity and the money will be donated to the One Drop Foundation. The foundation was started in 2011 to help eradicate poverty and provide clean water to people all over the world.
The poker lesson package on auction will include private one-on-one poker lesson with Daniel Colman and Olivier Busquet for 1 person; buy-in for the Little One for ONE DROP for one person; 3 nights stay in a Caesars Palace Suite and dinner for 2 at Nobu. The initial part of the auction will be hosted by Charitybuzz and will be done online. Charitybuzz has a lot of experience raising money for a number of leading charities including Children’s Health Fund, WhyHunger and Breastcancer.org. The auction is scheduled to take place on the 19th March at 11 am Eastern Standard Time. The second part of the auction will take place live in New York City on the 20th of March.
Charitybuzz is encouraging individuals to register their bids and also confirm what their maximum is big. This will enable a representative from Charitybuzz to bid on behalf of the bidder during the live auction. The data collected so far reveal that the current bid amount is around $3,000 and the next level is set at $3,250. Charitybuzz has estimated the package to be around $10,000 in value as winners get to spend time with Dan Colman and Olivier Busquet.
