Shaun Deeb, a poker professional from the United States, recently proved to the online poker community that he was riding a very strong lucky streak as he scored his 4th win in the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker.

By winning this event, Deeb has not only made a name for himself but has also set a record as he is now the only player to have won 4 titles at the Spring Championship of Online Poker tournament series.

There are many online poker tournaments being conducted on the internet today, of which the SCOOP or the Spring Championship of Online Poker run by the popular poker room PokerStars is one of the best known and most highly reputed. As a result, winning the championship title of such an event is no small achievement and is granted much weight in the poker industry.

Shaun Deeb lives in Mexico and first began collecting his SCOOP wins in the year 2010. His first win in this tournament series was a Pot Limit Omaha event with a $162 buy-in – where he took in a prize of $62,251.

Deeb also got lucky in 2012 when he won a set of 3 more Spring Championship of Online Poker titles one after the other. Deeb showed his poker skills in different types of poker games ranging from Seven-Card Stud to 100 Triple Stud. Deeb took in the first place at the Seven Card Stud High Lo event which had a buy in of $2,100 and ended up winning $40,330. He also took in another rack of $44,200 when he won the $2,100 buy-in event which was a Triple Stud poker tourney.

He also had a third title secured early in the series when he won yet another Seven-Card Stud event that also had a $2,100 buy-in. Shaun Deeb won $41,600 in this event and had amassed a decent poker prize pot by the time he had won all three SCOOP events this year.

Deeb is a twenty six year old online poker player and has managed to go through a field 74 poker professionals and strong poker players like as Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier and several others to get to the top place.

Deeb has also managed to cash in by placing within the final table and has collected points and cash prizes for his skills. He is now placed right at the top of the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker leaderboard with 470 points.
