The online poker market in New Jersey is slowly picking up and online gambling providers are working overtime to promote and capture a strong market share in New Jersey. The New Jersey Championship of Online Poker is scheduled to start on the 19th of April and will have a total of 15 events and $600,000 in guaranteed prize money for all BorgataPoker.com players. The Borgata has plans to heavily promote the tournament in the coming two weeks and expects a large pool of players to enter the competition. There are a number of special events that will take place throughout the tournament. Some of them include a High Roller tournament with at least $20,000 for first and $10,000 for second, Deepstacks, Freezouts, Rebuys, 6-max as well as a special Player’s Choice tournament that will take place on the 24th of April. The main event will be held on the 27th of April and will have a $200,000 guaranteed in prize money, with $50,000 guaranteed for the individual who comes in first place.
Players will have to be physically present in New Jersey to take part in the tournament.
