Poker players now have an opportunity to win a poker holiday in an exotic Caribbean location, where they can not only have fun, but also win large pots. This is because the Caribbean Poker Tour (CPT) will be launched in Punta Cana, a picturesque Caribbean island, in November.
Satellite qualifiers for this event have already been launched at various online poker rooms, and players are encouraged to win a prize package to the CPT in Punta Cana.
The CPT will comprise 7 poker tournaments, including the $1,500 buy-in NL Hold’em William Hill Poker Open Tournament.
Later in November, the CPT will proceed to St. Maarten, a short distance from Punta Cana, where 12 more poker tournaments, including the WPT Main Event, will be held. Tobias Reinkemeier, a professional poker player from Germany, will host the Lucky Number 7 High Roller Tournament, a seven-handed event with a buy-in of $7k. Top features of this event include limitless re-entries, and while the first re-entry will cost players $6k, all the others will cost them $5k. The CPT website informs that the average chip stack will be 100 big blind after re-entry.

CPT will announce the names of the six finalists on September 30. The winner of the finals will get a one-week vacation package to the Caribbean, from November 7 to November 14.
