As usual, the series culminates in the Main Event and this time around PokerStars has upped the tournament’s guarantee to $400,000.

PokerStars 50/50 Series – Key Details & Highlights

The 50/50 Series runs for eight days until November 19, with huge value on offer. Players will compete for $3,596,000 in total guarantees across 50 events, which means the average guarantee up for grabs sits at $71,920.

The schedule features a wide array of formats and poker variants, with each event costing just $50 to enter. In terms of value, a few events stand out, awarding six-figure guarantees, such as the Mini Bounty Builder HR PKO ($300K GTD, Nov. 12), PKO Deep Stack ($100K GTD, Nov. 12) and The Copacabana ($100K GTD, Nov. 12). Other versions of these events run throughout the series with guarantees of at least $50,000.

Other games offering great value include the Mini Bounty Builder HR PKO ($125K GTD, Nov. 13-18), PKO The Copacobana ($150K GTD, Nov. 19), PKO Deep Stack ($100K GTD, Nov. 19), and PKO The Acai ($100K GTD, Nov. 19).

Main Event Guarantees $400K

The best-value event of the series is no doubt the Main Event which will award $400,000 in guarantees, up from the $350,000 offered during the previous edition. It is scheduled for November 19-20 and will be played in PKO format.

The tournament was won in June by Ukraine’s “IamTABASCO” for $37,784 after topping a massive field of 8,950 entries. Lex “L. Veldhuis” Veldhuis who is an ambassador for PokerStars took part but did not cashout.

The 50/50 series is a great online alternative for players who missed out on the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) which is back after 12 long years and is currently underway at Resorts World Las Vegas.

The 50/50 series offers another opportunity for PokerStars players to boost their bankroll by playing their favorite games for less. The series follows the successful MicroMillions, the operator’s flagship low-stakes festival which returned in July with a $4 million guarantee.
