  • Feeder satellites start at €1.10, with daily freerolls also available
  • Paddy Poker Poker is also giving away Main Event packages

The 2023 Irish Poker Open is expected to have a gathering of international players thanks to the satellite events being offered on top poker sites. The Irish Poker Open has partnered with PokerStars, the biggest online poker site in the world.

As part of the partnership, PokerStars is running satellites for the Irish Open Main Event, allowing players to enter the tournament for as low as €1.10. Daily freerolls are also available where players can win a Main Event seat at zero costs.

Irish Open Main Event Satellites on PokerStars

PokerStars is giving away Main Event packages via two €109 buy-in satellites running each week. One of them takes place every Wednesday with five packages guaranteed to be won, while the other one runs every Sunday awarding eight packages.

Players may buy in directly to the satellite, but for those with a very limited bankroll and who want to win their way into the Main Event without spending anything, daily freerolls are the way to go. These freerolls award tickets to the €5.50 satellites which then feed into the €109 satellite that runs twice every week. There are other buy-in options available as well, the lowest being €1.10.

The Main Event package covers the tournament’s €1,150 buy-in plus €350 in travel and accommodation expenses, for a total value of €1,500.

Players will get the best chance of winning a Main Event seat on March 19 as PokerStars will distribute 20 packages on that day in a single €109 satellite finale.

Another option to enter the Main Event for a more affordable price is by taking part in seat-only satellites also running on PokerStars. These satellites have a buy-in of €55 and also run twice each week, every Monday and Friday, with five Main Event seats up for grabs. Feeder satellites cost €1.10, €5.50, and €11 to enter, with freerolls also available.

Satellites also Available on Paddy Power Poker

Apart from PokerStars, sister site Paddy Power Poker is also running satellites awarding €1,150 seats and €2,250 packages with buy-ins of €50 and €150 respectively.

The 2023 Irish Open gets underway on April 3 and runs until April 10 at the Royal Dublin Society. The series features 39 events headlined by the €1,150 Irish Open Main Event which takes place from April 5 to 10 and features a massive €1 million guarantee
