The who world is watching the events of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and as the poker tourneys begin and finish revealing the lucky winner of a special WSOP bracelet, the excitement of the community as a whole is growing.

The most recent event to take place at the World Series of Poker 2012 being conducted at the Rio Hotel and Casino was the No Limit Hold ‘Em poker tourney with a buy in of $1500. This event was won by poker player Ashkan Razavi, who is based in Canada. This was the 9th event of the series and the event saw more than 3400 poker players sitting down in competition for the first place prize.

Ashkan Razavi won a special newly designed World Series of Poker bracelet for his trouble and also walked away with his pockets weighed down with $781,398, which was the first place prize.

Ashkan Razavi is a 30 year old poker professional from Canada and appeared to be quite happy with his win, and commented, “For a $1,500 it was really tough. There were a lot of good players, a lot of known pros that are amazing. I feel very fortunate to have gotten through the
whole field.”
