US online poker players who had registered accounts on four online poker sites on the Cake Poker Network (CPN), now re-christened as Revolution Gaming Network, have been moved to a new online poker room called JuicyStakes.eu.

The above-mentioned four online poker rooms are Fugu Poker, Cake Poker, Hilife Poker, and Colt Poker.

This means that US poker players who have accounts on Cake Poker, Colt Poker, Hilife Poker, and Fugu Poker must now head over to JuicyStakes.eu, download the poker client, and install it on their computers to gain access to their accounts and continue playing on the Revolution Gaming Network.

Obviously, CPN has borrowed the idea from Bodog.eu, which recently shifted its US poker player base to a brand new poker website called Bovada.lv despite the fact that it had a European domain name Bodog.eu for its international players.

The move did not surprise well-informed poker players as it had appeared in the online poker media several days back. Juicy Stakes players received an email promoting a $100k tournament series. The email also mentioned that Juicy Stakes was on the verge of receiving a large base of US players after changing its URL to JuicyStakes.eu. The email stated,

Additionally, Juicy Stakes is announcing a new face as it changes its website URL from JuicyStakes.com to JuicyStakes.eu. As part of the change in address, Juicy Stakes will also be welcoming a new player base from trusted sites within the Revolution Gaming Network.

When US players tried logging into their Cake Poker accounts at cakepoker.eu, they were re-directed to JuicyStakes.eu. If any US poker player tries to access cakepoker.eu, he/she will see the following message.

Cake Poker does not offer services in your region. We regret that we are unable to serve you at Cake. If you’re hungry for poker and casino action, fat tournament guarantees and prime player rewards, such as Gold Chips and Gold Cards, we strongly suggest Juicy Stakes (www.JuicyStakes.eu).

The message further informs account holders at Cake Poker that they will no longer be able to access their accounts at Cake Poker because it no longer serves players from their part of the world. Assuring existing players that they do not have to get alarmed, the message states that their poker and casino accounts are intact and so are their loyalty accounts. The message ends by informing existing players that they can access their accounts and continue playing poker at the Juicy Stakes website.
