The European poker room PKR Poker recently confirmed that it has moved into the MPN family, which was earlier known as the Microgaming Network.
PKR has been around since 2006 and is known for its special client software which offers a unique experience to online poker players, featuring innovative 3D graphics and visuals which include fully customizable avatars.
This has been one of the main draws for players as it gave them a realistic poker environment.
PKR has confirmed that its migration to the MPN network will not be affecting this unique experience that its players have grown accustomed too. The new platform launched by MPN features Babelfish technology which will support a similar experience. Players will able to customize their avatars and play in a colorful environment while benefitting from the bigger player base thanks to MPN.

Existing PKR account holders will need to download the new software and log in with their account details. They can retain their original handle if still available. The account balance which earlier was held only in U.S. dollars will now be reflected in the currency of the player’s country of residence along with the applicable exchange rate.
The software is available in both 3D and 2D versions and has been redesigned for an enhanced player experience. The lobby design has been reworked giving the player the option of a classic view (the old PKR look) and a simple view. The rest of the navigation is largely similar to the prior version.
A number of offers and promotions are ongoing right now to welcome players to the new client. A deposit of €10 or equivalent will enable the player to get four benefits which are 100 VIP points, a bonus of 200-percent, five free casino spins at Hot as Hades slot and four entries to €1,000 First Depositor Freeroll tournaments.
Some of the other promotions on offer are the Win a Dream Holiday promotion, €1,000 First Depositor Freeroll tournaments, €1,000 Daily Lotteries and €30,000 Mad March Freeroll series.
A modified loyalty scheme has also been introduced. Real-money players now get 10 VIP points for every $1 put down in tournament fees or a cash-game rake. The program has six levels beginning in Blue and ending in Sapphire Elite, with cashback percentages starting at 5 percent going up to 30 percent based on VIP points won in a month.
